Previous editing gave me the idea of using a black and white background and the original figure. This is my final editing technique I think the effect works really well as it makes the figure bolder and almost 3-D. It also is in theme with my 1960s character breaking away from a 1950s background.
I mentioned before about liking the use of static patterns and textures. I used Pixlr and found an overlay of static TV. I did like the effect but it take away from the two block seperate colours and blends them too much however its maybe an effect that would work better on a smaller scale.
