If I am portraying different eras in my music video I think it would be interesting to try and recreate each eras filming style at points during the video. This Fairy liquid advert gives me a good idea of what filming styles were like. It starts with the 1950s black and white TV effect I think this will be the easiest editing technique to replicate. With the 1960s it switched to colour and the colours are quite vibrant and I need to research further and look at real 1960s TV footage to be certain of the style. The next editing technique I look at was at the end of the advert, the 80s this effect had quite a high saturation with a yellow/orange tint, but again I need to research further
